▶ Ages 8 thru 12
All of our youngest residents have single bedrooms in the Falcon Dormitory, which shares a daytime outdoor basketball court with the Dolphin Dormitory. Highly structured, engaging activities help engage the Falcons in their treatment plan goals while providing a safe, comforting environment away from home.
▶ Ages 12 thru 15
The Dolphin Dormitory can fluctuate in age ranges, but typically provides a residence for middle-school aged young adolescents. All single bedrooms, with a common area for activities and game systems, a shared basketball court is also just outside the back of the building for daytime use. Gymnasium equipment in the next building provides opportunities for year-round indoor physical activity, and Dolphins participate in many on and off campus activities when exhibiting safe behaviors.
▶ Ages 15 to 18
Our oldest adolescents tend to reside in the Mustang Dormitory. Located within the Leary Building, our newest on campus, most of the bedrooms are singles and the dorm opens out to a full size evening lit basketball court. The Greenhouse and Walking Labyrinth are beyond the court, providing a truly rural and quiet exterior view. Activities for Mustang residents include use of the lighted court, an indoor ping pong table and video game systems, however many Mustangs typically strive to participate in the Basketball League or other community-based team sports.
▶ Transition Unit
The "TU" dormitory is designed for adolescents who are preparing to transition from Harmony Hill to an Independent Living Program or similar community based living environment. This Peer-Government led dormitory houses up to 3 boys willing to accept responsibility for their own environment, including but not limited to meal preparation, laundry, cleaning and scheduling activities in the community. Personal responsibilities specific to each individual can include community based 12-step programs, bona-fide employment, securing a drivers license and other real life experiences and expectations. This opportunity to be supported through the challenges and responsibilities of 'adult living' sets the foundation for successful experiences outside Harmony Hill.
